It is the hardest thing to be away from you. Yes, you. I feel disconnected when there is a lack of fellowship, a lack of contact with you. Its a feeling close to being abandoned or even abandoning you because of the waiting (wait for the Lord).
I still have no word on when the surgery will be scheduled, and I don't know why the delay. All I know is that God knows. It is hard to type with the loss of dexterity in my hand and the nerve damage that may or may not come back, but perseverance is one of the qualities God asks us to exercise and we know none of this was promised to be easy.
Some very loving encouragement I will share with you, for all/any of you who need to hear it as much as I did:
"Don't lose heart because of the symptoms: the symptoms are helping fight the disease."
There is commotion against Russia. Just pray for God's will to be done there. There is no truth in the news. Read Daniel 11:21 - to the end. What is at work in spirit will manifest in the world - the "symptoms" of a plague in the world. Right now, the wounds are festering and they are trying to hide them under bandages; but lack of treatment causes infection, doesn't it? And if the infection is bad enough or deep enough, you can smell it.
God will heal that which is uncovered and confessed. Do you hear me? You still have time to expose the infection so it can be cleaned out.
"And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.
But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light." - Ephesians 5:11-13
.
By exposing the works of darkness you are bringing it into the light so others will see. This is what the saints are called to do. This is what Paul did concerning what his religion was doing. This is what Jesus did when admonishing the religious leaders of his time.
"In God have I put my trust: I will not be afraid what man can do unto me." - Psalm 56:11.
"Be not afraid of sudden fear, neither of the desolation of the wicked, when it cometh." - Proverbs 3:25
"Say ye not, A confederacy, to all them to whom this people shall say, A confederacy; neither fear ye their fear, nor be afraid." - Isaiah 8:12.
"Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." - John 14:27
"But and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled; But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:" - 1 Peter 3:14-15
There are prayers going out for you every day. Every struggle, every dream sent from a discouraging spirit, every co-worker that seems out to get you, every thought that you are not going to make it through this with your salvation intact: I feel your struggles. I am going through them too. The stuff in the news, the arguments on social media, the assurances of lies against lies while they are robbing you with slight of hand legislation. It is all distraction. It is sorcery and delusion to trick their way into your head and into your souls.
You have the armor of God. What they want from you is none of the things they dramatize in news stories about wars over money, corporations and influence. What they want from you is what God gave you when he created you. They cannot rule you unless you turn it over to them. This is what all the psycho-drama is designed to do. They have NO POWER without your permission. The economic, materialistic system is the only chain they have around you and that is easy to break. The spiritual chain is broken by Christ. That is the chain of fear. Pray to God in Jesus' name and ask him to reveal those chains in you and break them.
Praying for you . . .
